Qualcomm Keynote 2026

Making it cool and bad-ass in Maui.

Qualcomm invited us in to design and animate the keynote openers for their annual 3-day Snapdragon Summit conference based in Maui. Excited about the opportunity with a brand new client making killer products for billions of smart devices around us, we dug deep into their visual brand identity. It is decidedly, confidently, unambiguously RED.

The challenge: make agentic AI feel smart, helpful and - most importantly - tangible. And so was born: Orbie. The playful, intelligent sphere that activates and enables the “ecosystem of you.” We delivered these 3D rendered openers at 17,000 pixels wide for projection across seven screens with lighting and glass materials inspired by their static event visuals.

Fun fact: Phone Arena’s Editor-in-Chief declares, in an article referring to the opening of their Summit event, “Qualcomm remembers what Apple and Samsung forgot: How to be cool.” Bet.
